He had some mysterious scratches on his little paws and had to have them wrapped up to stop him from making them any worse. The usually feisty Matteo is not his regular rambunctious self. He’s off his beans and hasn’t tried to nip anyone in days. I’ve never missed a sloth bite so much. Fingers crossed he makes it.

The Sunday Sloth: General Squee’s been in the wars

I’ve just returned to the sanctuary for some filming and discovered Matteo, the dark lord of cute, in bandages. 30 Day Drawing Challenge, Day 9: My favorite animal There’s this silly game that Shawn introduced me and Mandy to a few years ago where you ask someone to name three adjectives to describe their favorite animal and a few other things (coffee, the ocean…) and the adjectives correspond to their supposed true feelings about other secret things, such as themselves, sex, and their significant others. The three adjectives I would use to describe a sloth would be “content, lazy, and adorable” and that supposedly corresponds to what I think of my boyfriend, which I think is actually quite accurate.
