Most thankful for the fifteen-pound cone-headed beast purring on my chest right now.
I have been working Fun Fun Fun Fest at the backstage bar. This means: dirt in my mouth, a whole lot of looking sideways at Ryan Gosling, dirt in my eyes, highfiving friends, listening to bogus explanations for why I should bend the rules, dirt all over my shoes, explaining that drink tickets aren’t good for baby arm sized Tecates, and thinking that going out after work sounds good until it’s actually after work and all I want to do is drink a giant diet coke and watch Food Network. I have not seen a band but I could hear Public Enemy killin’ it on Friday while all my friends were putting up with Glen ‘Babycakes’ Danzig’s crazytown antics. Tomorrow is Odd Future day and I am trepidatious but excited for the stories.
